Descripció
Hàbitat
És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical (23°N-24°S) que viu entre 2-61 m de fondària.[6]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des de Maurici i les Comores fins a Pitcairn i les illes Hawaii.[6][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
Costums
És bentònic.[18]
Observacions
És verinós per als humans.[6][19]
