Synodus saurus (Atlantic Lizardfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family lizardfishes. They visit flowers of purple mountain saxifrage. Individuals can grow to 43 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
