Anguilla japonica (Japanese Eel) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family freshwater eels. They are listed as endangered by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 150 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on anguilliform to move around.
