Galeorhinus galeus (Liver Oil Shark) is a species of modern sharks in the family hound sharks. This species is extinct. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and as of special concern by COSEWIC. They are carnivores. Individuals could grow to 200 cm. Reproduction was iteroparous and ovoviviparous. They rely on carcharhiniform to move around.
