Sphyrna zygaena (Smooth Hammerhead) is a species of modern sharks in the family hammerhead sharks. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Individuals can grow to 500 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and viviparous. They rely on carcharhiniform to move around.
