Scyliorhinus stellaris (Nursehound) is a species of modern sharks in the family cat sharks. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 190 cm. Reproduction is oviparous and iteroparous. They rely on carcharhiniform to move around.
