Dermochelys coriacea (Coffin Back) is a species of turtles in the family leatherback turtles. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN, as endangered by COSEWIC, and in cites appendix i. They are native to Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean. They are solitary carnivores. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
