Trichechus senegalensis (African Manatee) is a species of mammals in the family manatees. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ethiopia and Atlantic Ocean. They are omnivores. Individuals can grow to 3499.99 mm. They rely on lift powered swimming to move around.
