Arctocephalus pusillus (Afro Australian Fur Seal) is a species of mammals in the family eared seals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Atlantic Ocean, Ethiopia, and Indian Ocean. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 252 months and can grow to 1899.33 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They rely on lift powered swimming to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled. It also includes so-called "look-alike species", i.e. species whose specimens in trade look like those of species listed for conservation reasons.
