Turritopsis nutricula is likely not present along the Euroean coasts; all well documented cases belong either to T. polycirrha (Keferstein, 1862) or to T. dohrnii (see Schuchert, 2004. The distribution of T. plycirrha is North-East Atlantic. T. nutricula is confined to the Western Atlantic
