Platygyra carnosa is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Platygyra carnosa form shallow marine sediments. Platygyra carnosa form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction.
