Macrobrachium zariquieyi is a freshwater prawn belonging to the genus Macrobrachium and the family Palaemonidae. It is found in West Africa[1] and reported in Côte d'Ivoire river.[2] The species name of this species is dedicated to Ricardo Zariquiey who worked on Spanish decapods.[3]

Macrobrachium zariquieyi is een garnalensoort uit de familie van de Palaemonidae.[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1949 door Holthuis.
