Trachycardium procerum (G. B. Sowerby I 1833)

Trachycardium procerum is a species of mussels in the family Cardiidae. Dead Trachycardium procerum form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 17 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
