Frigidocardium torresi (E. A. Smith 1885)

Frigidocardium torresi is a species of mussels in the family Cardiidae. They are native to Madagascan Exclusive Economic Zone, Persian Gulf, Mozambican Exclusive Economic Zone, and Tanzania. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 20 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
