Spisula subtruncata (Cut Surfclam) is a species of mussels in the family Mactridae. Dead Cut Surfclam form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 5 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
