Hyphantosoma intricatum (Dautzenberg 1908)

Hyphantosoma intricatum is a species of mussels in the family venus clams. They are native to Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone and Mascarene Islands. Dead Hyphantosoma intricatum form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 47 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
