Decatopecten amiculum (Philippi 1851)

Decatopecten amiculum is a species of mussels in the family scallops. They are native to Mozambican Exclusive Economic Zone and Natal. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 6 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile burrowers.
