Mytilus planulatus (Australian Mussel) is a species of mussels in the family Mytilidae. They are native to Tasman Sea and New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Australian Mussel form shallow marine sediments. Adult Australian Mussel form marine reefs. They have sexual reproduction.
