Description: English: Conspicuous Chiton – (
Stenoplax conspicua) - These nocturnal molluscs are the largest chitons found at Cabrillo National Monument. During the day, they hide on the underside of rocks - emerging at night to graze by scraping rocks for alga and marine plants with their radula.
