Falco eleonorae (Eleonora's Falcon) is a species of Aves in the family Falconidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Mediterranean Sea, Ethiopia, and the Palearctic. They are solitary, crepuscular carnivores. They have parental care (paternal care, pair provides care, and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled. Permits or certificates should only be granted if the relevant authorities are satisfied that certain conditions are met, above all that trade will not be detrimental to the survival of the species in the wild.
