Eupetomena macroura (Gmelin & JF 1788)

Eupetomena macroura is a species of birds in the family hummingbirds. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are found in The Neotropics. They visit flowers of Norantea, great bougainvillea, Psittacanthus, and Moringa oleifera. They are diurnal. They rely on flight to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
