Chlidonias leucopterus (White Winged Tern) is a species of birds in the family Laridae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), australasia, the palearctic, Afrotropics, and the indo-malayan realm. Individuals can grow to 67 cm. They rely on flight to move around.
