This species is widely distributed in Southeast Asia, and is recognized to occur in Thailand, West Malaysia, Sarawak, Sabah, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. In the Philippines, this species occurs in the Mindanao and Visayan (central) faunal regions, and has been documented on the islands of Basilan, Mindanao, Negros, Bohol, Leyte and Samar.
