Ischnochiton maorianus is a species of molluscs in the family Ischnochitonidae. They are native to New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Ischnochiton maorianus form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 21 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
