Triceratops was a herbivore that had three (3) horns on its head. Scientists, when first discovered, thought they had found a new species of bison. Instead of a bison, it was a member of a new group of dinosaur called Ceratopsian. It also had a frill on the back of its head to protect its neck from enemies. The body was bulky and it had four (4) legs.
