Diploastrea heliopora is a species of cnidarians in the family Diploastraeidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Diploastrea heliopora form shallow marine sediments. Diploastrea heliopora form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have no parental care. They are sessile animals.
