Blastomussa merleti (Branched Cup Coral) is a species of in the family Mussidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Branched Cup Coral form shallow marine sediments. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
