Platygyra daedalea (Ellis & Solander 1786)

Platygyra daedalea is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Platygyra daedalea form shallow marine sediments. Platygyra daedalea form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 396 µm. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
