Oulophyllia bennettae (Veron, Pichon & Wijsman-Best 1977)

Oulophyllia bennettae (Intermediate Valley Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Intermediate Valley Coral form shallow marine sediments. Intermediate Valley Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
