Acropora palmata (Elkhorn Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Atlantic Ocean. Dead Elkhorn Coral form shallow marine sediments. Elkhorn Coral form marine reefs. They are nocturnal trophic guilds. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
