Acropora austera (Staghorn Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Staghorn Coral form shallow marine sediments. Staghorn Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
