Montipora capricornis (Montipora Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Montipora Coral form shallow marine sediments. Montipora Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have parental care (symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
