Montipora spumosa (Lamarck 1816)

Montipora spumosa is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Montipora spumosa form shallow marine sediments. Montipora spumosa form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have parental care (symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
