Placotrochides frustum Cairns 1979

Placotrochides frustum (Cut Fan Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Flabellidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Cut Fan Coral form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary. They have transverse division, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction.
