Solenosmilia variabilis (Maculate Stony Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family caryophylliid corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Maculate Stony Coral form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
