Nucula nucleus (Nuclear Nut Clam) is a species of mussels in the family nut shells. They are native to Namibia and South African Exclusive Economic Zone. They are surficial modifiers. They are detritivores. Individuals can grow to 12 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are burrowers.
