Spirula spirula (Common Spirula) is a species of Cephalopods in the family Ram's Horn Squids. They are native to New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 6 cm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
