They are native to Piauí, GoiáS, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pantanal, Acre (Brazil), Pará, AmazôNia, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Ceará, Alagoas, Rio De Janeiro, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, Roraima, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Norte, The Contiguous United States, Cerrado, Puerto Rico, Tocantins, Pampa, Mato Grosso, U.S. Virgin Islands, Maranhao, Santa Catarina, Distrito Federal, Bahia, and RondôNia. They have compound, broad leaves.
