Oxytropis lambertii (Purple Locoweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Vanessa cardui, Proserpinus juanita, and Brown-belted Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 1.4 feet.
