Caesalpinia (Nicker) is a genus of tree in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Polybia sericea, Mischocyttarus lanei, Polybia paulista, and Brachygastra lecheguana. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
