Soliva sessilis (Field Burrweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, and SãO Paulo. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 0.026 m.
