Soliva sessilis (Field Burrweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Cerrado, and SãO Paulo. They have simple, broad leaves and achene. Individuals can grow to 0.026 m.
