The range of this species extends over the north central to eastern half of United States and most of Canada. This species is found in most of Alberta (excluding the northeast corner and most of the eastern part of the province).

General Description

Elytral maculations of this species are similar to those of adult Cicindela decemnotata, and the two can be separated on the basis of the middle band. The reddish tinge and presence of a subhumeral spot on the elytra also serve as distinguishing features.
