Chaenactis (Pincushion) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Western North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Plebejus melissa, Apodemia mormo virgulti, Micralictoides chaenactidis, and Dainty Sulphur.
