Asplenium (Spleenwort) is a genus of shrub in the family spleenworts. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Canada, Eastern North America, Hawaii, Alaska, Greenland, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and The Contiguous United States. Individuals can grow to 22 m. They have alternation of generations.
