Dasypyga alternosquamella is a species of snout moth in the genus Dasypyga. It was described by Émile Louis Ragonot in 1887 and is known from western North America.[2]
The larvae feed on Arceuthobium species, including Arceuthobium vaginatum.[3]

Dasypyga alternosquamella is een vlinder uit de familie van de snuitmotten (Pyralidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1887 door Ragonot.
