Pterygoplichthys pardalis (Amazon Sailfin Catfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family suckermouth armored catfishes. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Brazil and Peru. Individuals can grow to 49.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
