Cryptoprocta ferox (Fosssoxa) is a species of mammals in the family Malagasy carnivores. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, crepuscular carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 240 months and can grow to 726.04 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running and arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
