A variety of habitats including forest, woodland, coastal floodplains, grassland and permanent swamps. Commonly found around temporary pools.Breeding is from October to April. Males call from the ground beneath leaves or at the base of grass tussocks, around the edges of shallow, temporary pools. Eggs are laid in large clumps floating on the surface of water. Tadpoles take 6 – 7 weeks to develop.

Tornier's frog (Litoria tornieri) is a species of frog in the subfamily Pelodryadinae. It is endemic to Australia.[1]

Habitat

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, dry or moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, swamps, intermittent freshwater lakes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.[1]
