Hyperolius polystictus Laurent 1943

A medium-sized Hyperolius (males to 31 mm, females to 33 mm), probably confined to the area surrounding the falls of the Lofoi River, R. D. Congo. Body rather broad. This species was described based on a single specimen, and nothing is known of its distribution or life history. It is included based on Laurent’s authority.

Hyperolius polystictus is a species of frog in the family Hyperoliidae. It is endemic to Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers.
