Neopithecops er en slekt av dagsommerfugler som tilhører undergrupper blåvinger i den store familie glansvinger (Lycaenidae).

Utseende

Små blåvinger (vingespenn ca. 25 millimeter) med brede, avrundede vinger, uten stjerter på bakvingene. Begge kjønn er mørkbrune på overside, hunnene gjerne med lyse felter i midten. Undersiden er hvit med lysbrune flekker, mest langs ytterkanten, og en svart flekk ved forkanten av bakvingen.

Levevis

Larvene lever ofte på planter i slekten Glycosmis (familien Rutaceae). Disse sommerfuglene lever i tett skog.

Utbredelse

Slekten er utbredt i Sørøst-Asia, fra India i vest til det nordligste Australia i øst.
